Product Overview
We found a very small amount of Padauk and Mahogany wood furniture for the PSL and Vepr rifles. This is the last of what we have, in this type of wood. No more are planned for production.
Padauk wood made up our best stocks for the PSL and Vepr with its amazing natural color and toughness. It is very easy to finish but different than most other woods. We have found to spend an extra amount of time sanding it starting at 150, 180, 220, then 600 then a bit higher with wet paper. Once the wood is clean and dry, buff with a small amount of Tung oil until it is dry to the touch.
The Mahogany was an experiment and tends to be a bit softer. It will take any dye and oil finish. Mahogany comes in many grades and species and were not sure what some of this was made from.
The kits are complete with rubber recoil pad and plastic check rest as well as the mounting hardware.
Handguards come complete and in the case of the Vepr the mounting screw.
Our inventory of the kits is limited to just one unit of each type posted and very few of everything else, except the PSL Mahogany handguards.
